JEREMIAS: Mike and Diane have been under such a strain that I decided to let the photographer follow them but not to interview them. They needed a break, and Diane said that she'd have phone sex with me again if I agreed. So I thought I would include these photos and tell you a little more about the two of them.

Mike and Diane love to spend time at the Y, where they both work cleaning the men's locker room. It's easy to see that they love to spend time together and are truly in love. Deep, anal, love. Yes siree Bob.

They both start their vocational training in the fall, at a local institution of medium-er learning. Diane plans to become a VCR repair technician. Mike hasn't yet decided what he will study, but he knows that it will involve taking stuff apart and putting it together again. Maybe, he thinks, he can even put stuff together so it's just like it was before he took it apart.

Education is very important to Diane and Mike. They are committed to finding steady jobs before moving into their own trailer together. Diane's parents haven't said much since they told them about what they're going to do. We think they're trying to negotiate book deals.

Mike and Diane had agreed that regardless of how Diane's parents reacted, they are still committed to following through with their statement of anal love. They talk about how to explain it to Mike's parents and hope that everything works out OK. This is going to be extremely "hard" on them, especially because Mike’s dad is a Catholic priest.
